    Homemade White Bread
    6-1/2 cups bread flour
    1/2 tbsp salt
    2 tbsp lard
    2 (1/4oz) packages active dry yeast
    1/2 cup sugar
    2-1/2 cups warm water
    1.  Dissolve yeast, lard, and sugar in the warm water. Let it sit until it gets frothy.
    2.  Stir in the salt and 2 cups of the bread flour.
    3.  Slowly add the remaining flour while mixing to combine.
    4.  Knead the dough on a lightly floured surface until smooth and elastic (aprx 8 min).
    5.  Lightly oil a large bowl, place the dough ball into the bowl and turn to coat.
    6.  Cover with a damp cloth and place in the oven, with the light on for warmth, to rise
        for an hour.
    7.  Punch the dough down and divide into 2.
    8.  Shape the 2 pieces of dough into loafs and place in 2 lighly oiled pans.
    9.  Cover the loaves with a damp cloth and let rise in the oven, with the light on for warmth,
        for 40 minutes.
    10. Remove the damp cloth and turn the oven to 350.
    11. Bake for 30 minutes.
